With approximately 3,000 Cavies, Chinchillas, Gerbils, Hamsters, Mice, Rabbits and Rats attending the show over two days. The Burgess Premier Small Animal Show is the longest running and biggest Small Animal Show in the UK.
The Show has been a key date in the Small Animal world since 1921. It sees hundreds of breeders or (`fanciers`) of Small Animals come together under one roof, for the competition of the year.
Originally held in Bradford, the Show recently moved to the Yorkshire Event Centre on the Great Yorkshire Show Ground in Harrogate, where it has continued to grow in popularity and be held in high esteem amongst the UK's fanciers.
Formerly the Bradford Championship Show, this year's Event has a new title, a new sponsor and new marketing investment. The 2013 Event is set to be the biggest and best competition in the Show's history, attracting more fanciers and public than ever before.
The showcase event just outside Harrogate is the chance for families to experience the Discovery/Family Activity Area and learn more about Small Animals and how to care for your pets properly.
The Show is organised by a dedicated Committee and is run on a not-for-profit basis.
